Togbe Afede XIV, the Paramount Chief of the Asogli Traditional Area, recently made a generous donation of land to the DreamChild Foundation. This land will be used to build a paediatric clinic that will serve the communities in the Volta Region.
This donation is part of a broader initiative by the foundation to establish five paediatric clinics across Ghana. The first of these clinics will provide essential healthcare services, improving access to medical care for children and families in these underserved regions. By ensuring better healthcare infrastructure, this effort will greatly contribute to the well-being of the local communities.
While with the foundation’s leadership, Togbe Afede XIV expressed his full support for the fundraising efforts that will help bring this vision to life. His unwavering commitment reflects the collaborative spirit necessary to drive successful, community-based initiatives like the HoodTalk Music Festival. This partnership between VirtualHub, the DreamChild Foundation, and Togbe Afede XIV highlights the power of community collaboration in addressing pressing social challenges. Through the HoodTalk Music Festival, we can create lasting change by combining music, awareness, and philanthropy.
Creating Change Through Music
At VirtualHub, we are honored to have played a key role in organizing the inaugural HoodTalk Music Festival. First held on September 2 last year at the Kingdom Gardens in Ashiyie-Regimanuel Katamanso Estate, this event marked the beginning of an impactful journey aimed at raising awareness and addressing critical issues such as youth empowerment, girl-child advocacy, and climate change. As the festival’s audio-visual partner, we provided state-of-the-art equipment and technical support to ensure the event’s success.
We are excited to continue our partnership with the DreamChild Foundation and Togbe Afede XIV to further promote these important causes, while contributing to the construction of paediatric clinics that will make a lasting difference in the lives of many communities across Ghana.
