This exciting event, headlined by renowned Ghanaian artistes Edem, Epixode, and Togbe Ghana, will take place on November 18, 2023, at the Jubilee Park. Organized by the DreamChild Foundation in partnership with Virtual Hub, the festival is more than just a celebration of music—it’s a chance to unite for a cause and drive positive change.
Supporting the African Child
The DreamChild Foundation is an NGO dedicated to improving the lives of African children through healthcare, education, and other vital services. The HoodTalk project aims to raise awareness and funds to build five paediatric clinics across Ghana, a project set to cost $14 million. This initiative has already garnered support from the Office of the President and continues to gain momentum. By combining the power of music and arts, the project engages communities and advocates for the betterment of the African child.
Unforgettable Performers
The festival will feature performances by the headline artistes and a stellar lineup of local talent. Edem, a prolific performer, is known for his hit songs and energetic stage presence. His contributions to Ghanaian music have earned him a loyal fan base, and his performance is sure to be a highlight of the night. He first gained prominence with his hit single “Wotome Woshi” in 2006 and has since maintained a solid career, both as a performer and a social advocate.
Epixode will also take the stage with his unique blend of reggae, dancehall, and afrobeat. Epixode’s engaging performances and chart-topping hits have made him a household name in Ghana and beyond.
Also performing is Togbe Ghana, a well-respected figure in the Ghanaian music scene. Known for his diverse sound and ability to connect with audiences, Togbe Ghana’s performance promises to be a memorable experience for all attendees.
The festival will also feature performances from Volta Region-based artists, including Agbesi, Gabanki, Kpeseboi, Tuff B, Israel Maweta, Comedian Paper, Zygee, Rizzlah Stylah, Kush Elikem, Fiamor, Kofi Bright, Rasta Boy, Kayrien, Yaw Darlington, among others.
